Are you looking for a new musical challenge? Would you like to play a state-of-the-art Phoenix digital organ and direct an enthusiastic choir?

Glebe-St. James United Church, a centrally-located church serving both neighbourhood and city, is seeking a Minister of Music to work as part of its team ministry, beginning January 2026.

We are looking for a dynamic, gifted, experienced Minister of Music who is a strong team player with varied musical aptitudes and interests, and warm interpersonal skills. Glebe-St. James is an affirming congregation welcoming all, regardless of race, colour, age, sexual orientation, gender, faith, or any other category.

Our active music program includes a 20-voice adult choir and opportunities for musical excellence and creativity. The congregation embraces a full range of musical styles.

In addition to the Phoenix organ, resources include an extensive choral music library, a Steinway baby grand piano, a Roland digital piano and Samick baby grand piano as well as private teaching facilities. The sanctuary features excellent acoustics and is regularly used for external community wide musical events.
