CHURCH MUSICIAN/ MUSIC DIRECTOR – ST. ANDREW’S UNITED CHURCH CUMBERLAND
Ottawa (Cumberland), ON.
We are seeking a talented & enthusiastic Music Director to:
- Lead Sunday worship music
- Accompany services on piano/organ
- Direct and train a SATB choir
- Help shape the musical direction of our services

WHAT YOU’LL WORK WITH
- Allen 3-manual pipe organ (full pedal board)
- Kurzweil electronic grand piano
- Yamaha digital piano
- Voices United and More Voices hymn books + additional resources
TIME COMMITMENT
- Approx. 7-8 hours per week
- Includes:
-
- Sunday services
- Choir rehearsals
- Occasional special services (Easter, Christmas, etc.)
- Weddings & funerals (as requested)
EXTRA INVOLVEMENT
- Attend 7–8 Worship Committee meetings/year
- Collaborate with clergy on hymn & anthem selection
- Contribute to ongoing music development
COMPENSATION
- Based on experience (RCCO guidelines)
- Additional honorarium for weddings & funerals
- Potential access to facilities/instruments for private teaching
