ORGANIX CONCERTS presents weekly Monday lunchtime concerts (12:15 – 1:00) Holy Trinity Church – Eaton Centre. May 3, 10, 17, 23 and 31. The first concert is in collaboration with Dr. Wayne Carroll Scholarship Fund. The final Monday concert on May 31 is in collaboration with Music Mondays. Performers in this series include; Samuel Bisson; cello, Alexa Wilks; violin and organist Wayne Carroll; Also, organists: Thomas Pousont (McGill), Rachel Mahon (Toronto) with Larry Beckwith conducting the Unionville String Orchestra. ORGANIX CONCERTS in collaboration with The Toronto Theatre Organ Society at CASA LOMA (1 Austin Terrace) presents an evening of Popular Favourites performed by London Centre RCCO member Ross McDonald. Come out and support this concert and enjoy Pop Favourites. ORGANIX CONCERTS is at St. John’s – York Mills (19 Don Ridge Dr.) featuring the improvisational talents of Andrei Streliaev in his accompaniment of the 1925 classic silent film, “The Eagle” starring Rudolph Valentino.   3. ORGANIX CONCERTS INTERNATIONAL ARTIST SERIES   
    1. Friday May 7, 2010 at 7:30 pm. ORGANIX will be at Metropolitan United Church and will feature Frédéric Champion. Frédéric is an impressive organist and winner of the first prize in the first Canadian International Organ Competition. He has performed throughout Europe at all the “hot spots” for organists to play. Come and hear his blazing virtuosity and enjoy the first of three concerts in our International series.     2. Sunday May 23, 3:00 pm. ORGANIX will be at Our Lady of Sorrows and will feature James David Christie.  This concert is in collaboration with the church in support of its mechanical action Casavant Frères organ. Maestro Christie will perform J. S. Bach’s last work… the Art of the Fugue. This concert is Free but donations over $ 20.00 will get a tax receipt from Our Lady of Sorrows.     3. Sunday May 30, 7:00 pm. ORGANX will be at All Saints Kingsway and will feature in our final concert of the International Series the thrilling and highly creative Eugenio Maria Fagiani. You will hear some very exciting new material and a few of his big movie transcriptions.
