On Highway 6 a half hour's drive south of Owen Soun, Durham derives much of its charm from the Saugeen River. Among its several parks is the newly opened Riverview Commemorative park. Downtown Durham's buildings are decorated with the outdoor murals of renowned artist Alan Hilgendorf, offering another reason to stroll through this riverbank community.
